Creo AI Assistant brings AI-powered guidance directly into the Creo design environment, helping engineers find answers, troubleshoot problems, and move through unfamiliar workflows without leaving the CAD workspace.
Through a conversational interface, users can ask questions about Creo features, engineering practices, and design processes. As its capabilities expand, Creo AI Assistant can also work with information from the active 3D model and support increasingly sophisticated design automation.
Creo AI Assistant gives engineers guidance where they need it most: directly inside the design environment to improve productivity and help teams make better decisions earlier in the development process.

Creo AI Assistant Features
Instead of interrupting design work to search through documentation, support articles, or training resources, Creo AI Assistant places intelligent guidance alongside the model.
- Embedded chat interface: Ask questions and receive guidance without leaving the Creo environment.
- Creo workflow guidance: Get instructions for using Creo features, completing tasks, and navigating unfamiliar workflows.
- Engineering best practices: Receive recommendations grounded in Creo documentation, Help Center resources, and established design practices.
- Troubleshooting support: Explore potential causes and resolutions for common errors, with references to relevant technical resources.
- Creo Advise: Access model-agnostic guidance for general Creo questions, engineering workflows, feature education, and troubleshooting.
- Creo Assist (Beta): Use model-aware intelligence to extract model information, identify potential issues, validate design inputs, and support design reviews.
- Creo Automate (Alpha): Apply engineering-level intelligence to create or modify geometry, perform analysis, and reduce effort across repetitive workflows while keeping the engineer in control.
Creo AI Assistant is designed to reduce the distance between an engineering question and the information needed to move forward.
Creo AI Assistant Benefits
By embedding AI directly into the CAD workflow, Creo AI Assistant can help engineers reduce friction associated with everyday tasks and spend more time developing better products.
- Reduce repetitive work
- Find answers without leaving Creo
- Troubleshoot issues more efficiently
- Accelerate onboarding and feature adoption
- Support broader design exploration
- Surface data-driven insights
- Improve decisions involving performance, cost, and quality
- Identify issues earlier
- Reduce manual iteration and rework
- Improve communication and downstream handoffs
Creo AI Assistant helps engineers remain focused on the design instead of the process of finding help.
Is Your Creo Environment Ready for AI-Assisted Design?
Creo AI Assistant introduces a progression of capabilities built around three levels: Advise, Assist, and Automate. Understanding what is currently available—and what is coming—is essential to planning implementation and adoption for your team.
Creo Advise is available by default and does not require a separate license, although users must have an account on the Creo portal. Creo+ users can access it through their existing Creo+ portal account. Creo Assist is currently offered as a closed beta for select participants and requires an Advanced Creo AI Assistant license. Automate is still in development with capabilities focused on controlled, engineer-reviewed model changes.
NxRev can help you evaluate your Creo environment, determine which capabilities are available to your organization, prepare user access and licensing, and help establish a practical adoption and/or upgrade plan.
